Publisher and license

MapGuide is published by Konrad Witkowski, Poland. Contact: witkompapp@gmail.com. The app and its in-app purchase are licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. This page explains the product and support arrangements; it does not replace that license or limit mandatory consumer rights.

Free features and optional purchase

The public version 1.0 supports trips with up to 20 stops. Version 1.1 is being prepared for testing: up to 20 stops remain free, and an optional one-time, non-consumable App Store purchase removes the 20-stop limit for new trips. This is not a subscription. There are no advertisements or MapGuide account requirements.

The US base price is $0.99. Apple determines storefront prices and applicable taxes; the current local price is displayed before confirmation. Technical safeguards still apply: up to 10,000 stops in a trip and up to 1,000 places in a single import. AI proposals and external map handoffs have separate limits. The purchase does not buy an AI service or change map-provider limits.

Purchase, restoration and refunds

Apple handles billing. Use Restore Apple purchases in Settings with the same Apple Account if access needs to be restored. Restarting the app does not remove a verified purchase. JSON backups transfer app data, not purchase rights. Family Sharing is not enabled for this product.

If Apple revokes or refunds the transaction, creating new trips above 20 stops is disabled after the entitlement updates. Existing saved trips remain accessible. For billing or refund requests, follow Apple’s refund instructions; eligibility depends on Apple’s process and applicable law. Contact us for technical help. Nothing here excludes rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Maps, AI and availability

MapGuide is a planning tool. Check route details, access restrictions, opening hours and real-world conditions before travelling. Travel times and suggested orders are estimates and do not guarantee the shortest or safest route. Navigation is supplied by the external maps service you choose, under its terms. Internet access and regional map coverage affect availability.

Version 1.1 local AI requires a compatible device with iOS 26 or later and Apple Intelligence enabled and ready. Review generated proposals before saving. Manual planning and importing lists do not require AI. An external AI assistant is optional and may impose its own terms, account requirements or fees.

Your data and support

Lists and trip history are stored on your device without cloud sync. Export a JSON backup before deleting the app or replacing data. You control copies shared with other services. Read the privacy policy for local storage, map requests, StoreKit and TestFlight details.
